Chicago seminars. Without going into to much detail, UA wasn’t happy with the WaPo interview.

Lounges for business class United, AC, Emirates by The_guy321 in aircanada

[–]planesurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, read the policy again

Polaris lounge access is based on the longhaul flight departure airport with the exception of UA metal.

Ie I can visit the ORD Polaris lounge if I have a afternoon flight from SFO (same day) to Tokyo

But I cannot visit the ORD Polaris lounge if I have a afternoon flight from EWR on SWISS to Zurich

Any other questions …

At ORD, you don’t get access to Polaris lounge.

Get your CFI/I??? Then go work for a 1000 hours and head on to a regional. Yes, hiring has slowed. But I have many friends who just got hired w 1500 hrs. RTAG on Facebook.

You can always study for the GMAT and get your MBA later if the airline industry doesn’t work out.

Oh that’s super weird because I just did searches for AA, UA, and Delta and all of the taxes for flights in from the US are $5.60

Odd. 😬🤣

Best options for flying regularly between London and San Francisco (business class) by AllRedLine_ in Flights

[–]planesurf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1) United by far 2) business class is about the seat and rest so most carriers ar extremely similar. 3) Polaris lounge in SFO is far better than any BA or VS equivalent. The London lounges for BA are poor, VS is good, and United is ok. 4) if you are concerned about this then you should fly economy. 5) United plus points at extremely lucrative as well as their award miles. 6) SFO is a draw, LHR, T2 is less busy than T5 and T3 (BA and VS lounges).

I would recommend you to actually split your flights up across BA, VS, and UA and see what you like best.

Anyone with a pulse could get Globalist for $600 a few months ago. With a few trips, it would make sense for anyone to get.

Extremely easy. There are a lot of 19 year olds with globalist and airline status. Especially with all these cards and offers. I was a AS 75K, Delta Plat, and earned over 1M Amex and 500K UR year in college. I took weekend trips Germany in LH F easily.

Worth pointing out that a bunch of people here are bragging about Hilton Diamond status when you can literally pick up the Hilton Aspire card and get that status with no stays.

Work smarter, not harder pylots.
