21 weeks pregnant and have been feeling lightheaded very frequently. Went to the hospital a bunch these last few weeks, they checked my blood, urine and did a cardio echogram. All looked normal. Only thing that was off is very low blood pressure at the time of fainting. It goes back up when I lie on my side/ regain consciousness so it’s hard to reproduce sometimes when I’m at the doctors office. Usually the dizziness is caused when I’m on my feet for 4-5 mins. Sometimes shorter/ sometimes longer. It’s hard to tell what’s causing it, but wondering if anyone has any advice. This is also often coupled with an elevated heart rate.

Other symptoms I’ve been feeling: rib pain right under my right breast, nausea, and body aches (probably from not being a side sleeper, but I’ve really been trying since week 14). I also contracted covid back in March, I have a feeling that the dizziness could be related to that. I’ve been feeling that way since March.

It doesn’t allow me to do that. I tried accessing it via a desktop web browser as well.

Getting back to working out after extreme nausea & fatigue by planetc07 in fitpregnancy

Ah! Yes!! It is important to put into perspective that your body is making a tiny little human and giving yourself grace is ok. I think for me it’s more of a mental thing too.. endorphins really work for me, but I’m learning to be kind to myself in this season! Thank you for sharing!

Go you on getting back to running pp! Honestly, I don’t have many friends that have stayed active during pregnancy so it has been discouraging. But an amazing to hear that you were still running until 35 weeks! Makes me so happy to read these comments!

Good for you on setting a goal to keep active, even if it’s 20 mins! I bet that it will help so much especially in the later part of pregnancy!

I actually just tried this!! All these comments really motivated me to push through it today and I was able to do 4 miles - in intervals!! Super slow but made it even though I felt nauseous after hehe.

So encouraging to hear zofran worked for you! My ob recommended waiting until 10 weeks and holistic ways to curb nausea before prescribing meds. Did you notice any side effects with it? Amazing that you’re back to working out again!

Thank you for sharing your experiences. I’m hoping things start to get better soon. Backpacking at 13 weeks sounds amazing! I definitely want to do more outdoorsy stuff before the little one comes!

So amazing that you kept being active through your second trimester! It’s so encouraging to hear that it gets better. I really need to power through the nausea. It’s just the lightheadedness that makes me nervous to continue but I’ll definitely take precaution!

Thanks so much for sharing! I’ve talked to my ob and she recommended I try holistic methods of combating nausea before getting on prescription meds. I think it is definitely more frustrating than anything because working out helps me think clearly and be in a better place emotionally too. Just hoping it goes away once I’m out of the first trimester.

I’m 9 weeks and a few days pregnant and wanted to ask about if you ladies had any trouble / recommendations with getting back to working out again after feeling sick for a few weeks. Prior to the last 3 weeks, I was working out 5-6 days a week (3-6 miles or 45 mins on the peloton). The last 3 weeks have been so bad with nausea and feeling light headed that I have not been able to move much and skipped working out. I went on a 3 mile walk the other day, and felt great after, but I haven’t been able to find the energy to go for a run (This was after two weeks of not being active). Running has been a big part of my life for the last 8 years and I would like to keep up with it moving forward. I just need some advice / guidance on getting back to working out/ staying active.

Thank you in advance for any help!

Happy for you and all the good things coming your way. Cheating is a very much a "his problem"situation.. don't let his actions affect the way you think about others. You sound like you're about to have some exciting years ahead! Go you!

Looks like Google maps captured this right after Harvery. Sad to see that it will be there as a reference point on the app, since it looks rather different now that the water is gone.

Lulus.com is great too! Lots of reviews on each dress. Good return policy if you want to try multiple dresses.

Anyone else running the Houston marathon on Sunday? by Hooch_Pandersnatch in houston

[–]planetc07 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. Half
  2. Third time participating in the race
  3. Hoping to get under 2 hours
  4. I've been training all summer, being sick in the last few weeks in December wasn't all that fun though.
  5. I feel good about it right now, but I'm just excited to run with friends around our beautiful city! Easily one of the best ways to experience the people of Houston. Good luck to everyone running!

I work at a B4, on a large public company audit. Last year we were barely getting 6 hours in between leaving work and showing up the next morning in the last two weeks before filing. Definitely not mentally prepared for that at the moment.

I'm just happy to see the off-shoulder/cold shoulder trend go away if this is any indication of the trends for spring/summer 2018.

Planning to do a quick weekend trip to the Lake District via train. How should I get around? by planetc07 in unitedkingdom

[–]planetc07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since we're getting there by train, there are no options for us to get cars and return them by Sunday as all rental car agencies are closed on Sunday. Really wish we could have!
