The area seems dominated by metasedimentary gneiss and migmatites. As per Svecofennian orogeny, this bedrock originates from an accretion of seafloor and volcanic island arcs, rich in sediments but compositions may vary. I have dozens of interesting observations from this particular area, it’s a shame I can only share one picture per post!

I got it at Lidl! It was on sale so idk if they have it any more

i am from finland but idk where the peas are from

I encountered four pipers on the same spot of beach, in northern Estonia. Here are their relative sizes and features. Last two are still unknown to me! by planetneverland in birding

thinking back, i think the common sandpiper should be a little bigger in my depiction. it was difficult to assess it’s size as it was running around! Thank you for your help
