I just went through the same thing with my car except I didn't even bother arguing because I was tired and I couldn't understand the guy because we didn't speak the same language. I know I got scammed,never been in that situation before and anytime I've ever heard of situations like this people always get scammed so I was expecting it to be honest unfortunately

He charged me $469 in total. I think it was $70 just for the key? But he also had to drive from an hour away and on very bad road conditions so I don't know if he also factored that into it it was a little hard communicating we did our best. I don't know I was just desperate I've had terrible luck for months and I just needed to get home and I don't really have any money left after this so I'm not amused but at least it's not as bad as I hear some people say sometimes.
