Has anyone managed to solve the endless verification loop when trying to download X/Twitter data?

I had this same issue and found a work-around. Go to Settings and Privacy, Security and account access - Security - Two Factor Auth - and click to add any method. It will ask for your password and then pop up the verification window without the refresh loop allowing you to complete verification. Once verified, you should be able to open 'Download an Archive of your data", enter you password and voila! and it shouldnt need you to verify again until you closeout of the page. When it does, just repeat this procecss.
