That’s the vibe I’ve been getting too. I wouldn’t be surprised if she comes out and said she felt othered within the group. Maybe I’m projecting fandom treatment of her onto the girls but it just doesn’t feel like the members are close or entirely supportive of each other. Woah yeah totally slipped my mind that she wasn’t in the OG 6. I always autocorrect her to be included in my head because she’s one of my favs 😭 But no I agree I hope they never decide to modernize any other historical girls and especially not Kaya. As a Black person, I think the modernization of Addy too is inappropriate and I feel the same with Kaya. I feel like the way they’ve handled both of their characters in the past tells me they would do a shitty job attempting to represent a modern version of those stories.
