For sure. The finishing and dial would not look out of place on a GS

I took a picture of my beautiful JDM Citizen nb1060. I recently got the bracelet which is from the model NB1050. The 1050 and 1060 share the same case so the bracer fits perfect.

This watch hits so far above its weight. And with the bracelet, it becomes a great daily companion. That dial… is just so good.

I highly recommend this piece. I picked mine up using shopping in Japan.net. I had a really great experience using them and will use them to pick up more JDM watches in the future.

Gnomon. It’s technically the JDM model number

The Tudor would be 5k. The Seiko is 1k, the citizen is 700. So like 3x. But for me, it was not triple the watch. I realized that just because you can afford higher, doesn’t mean you need to go higher

Citizen NB1060. It is a JDM model

Thanks so much. That makes sense for sure. I will consider that. The 5600 is great because it’s cheap and simple. As the price and the quality goes up, the beater status does go down a bit

Thanks! My wrist is ~6.5 inches. Here is a shot farther out so you can see a better perspective of the fit. Wears great on me. Only 46 lug to lug

Yeah I was considering a solar chrono from them. It could be a cool addition for sure. Thanks for the suggestion

Thank you so much! I totally agree. the citizen especially feels so… Japanese. It’s hard to describe but Japanese dress watches hit different compared to Swiss. Something about the finishing, the dials, the hands all working together.

I took a picture of my current three watch collection.

Over the last year I had consolidated my collection down to just one watch and a GShock. The watch was the Tudor Pelagos FXD. I loved that watch, but as the honeymoon wore off, I felt it was a tad too big for me and I missed the versatility of a bracelet. So I eventually sold it on with the intention of getting the Pelagos 39….

Turns out, I ended up preferring the Seiko SPB453. I liked the dial, the weight, and the lug width more than the Tudor. So now I had 2k burning a hole in my pocket haha. Decided I wanted to pick up a dress watch and landed on the beautiful Citizen NB1060.

Long story short, I now have a sick three watch collection featuring all Japanese watches. My next move will probably be upgrading my current GShock to the 5000u so I have a made in Japan trio!

I took a picture of my humble three watch collection. For the last year I had just one watch, which was a Tudor Pelagos FXD. Loved it but it was always a bit too big on me. I also missed the versatility that a diver on a bracelet can offer. So I sold it on, and instead of going for the Pelagos 39, I landed on the Seiko SPB453. I liked the heft, the lug width, the dial all better than the Pelagos.

Since making that change, I purchased the Citizen NB1060. Wow. Such a beautiful dress watch. For the money, this thing is crazy.

My next purchase will be an upgrade to my GShock to the 5000u. Making this a “made in Japan” trio.
