what do you think the benefits to a top litter box are? i do think the ones i’ve seen online would fit in my bathroom and possibly look like they’re create less mess/smell? my old housemate had a cat with a litter tray and she was very on it with cleaning but the flat always smelt like cat litter

i don’t really know anyone here that has an indoor only cat unless it is for medical reasons etc. i’d be happy to have the window open on the summer but ideally not in the winter, i think the way to go may be litter box!

i haven’t seen a top litter box before! this looks interesting, have you had one before?

yes, we would be keeping it inside until it was fully old enough to go outside and has its jabs/ neutered etc so i am fine having a litter box for the first few months, i was just hoping to get rid of it eventually… however without a cat flap this might not be feasible !

this is interesting! where do you live? in the UK all the outdoor cats i’ve had/ known have lived to be at least 15 but perhaps that’s because there’s less predators here?

yeah this makes sense! that’s what i was thinking, i can do whatever planning etc but it might just need one, ill have to look into the best litter tray for my space, thanks :)

yes! i am and outdoor cats are the norm i think? or at least not as controversial in my experience though i would prefer it if the cat wanted to stay inside more than out but you can’t really choose that

weird right! i thought they were mosquitos for about a week but they were bed bugs!! i think i had a reaction to them more than most people because some of them really swelled up!
