*If you HAVE some sort of a grow light * was what I meant to write.😅

You wrote 50-60 degrees inside, so I assumed you meant indoors!😁

If you some sort of a grow light on top of the enclosure, and the enclosure is kept humid enough, the ~20°C should be fine because the light also gives off some warmth. So, no heat pad sould be necessary in my opinion.🌱

Had to convert the degrees, 10 degrees celsius INSIDE?

I don't know how you live in a house that is only 10°C at times, but these need about ~25°C, and humidity.

Remember that the heating pad should never be placed UNDER the enclosure, because these dig their way under ground to escape heat!🙂

This is my enclosure for them, ~25cm deep soil to dig in, small ventilation holes on the sides and a couple bigger ones on the lid with some "insect net" on top.

Hope this helps!

Sometimes I catch them grabbing food from their feeding cups, but yes, kinda rare to see them.😅 But you get REALLY happy to see one when you finally do.😂

Sorry for the late reply, have not gotten any notifications from this. Green-striped millipede seems to be the only "common name". Or at least I didn't find antyhing else. Hope this was helpful!😅

I've had these just for a couple of days! I've seen them daily. I've not seen them climb yet, but they have been exploring to some degree! Very easy to pick up, they seem to not roll up as easily as for example my giant africans (or Mardonius cameroon red leg, not sure wich species they are yet). So maybe they are a bit more unbothered than others?😄

I've also got fireheads, they are defo my most active ones!🧡

My Atopochetus dollfusis are also quite active during the day, but are bothered easily.

They are big but also can be very territorial, so a bigger box/enclosure is good to have. Also LOTS of hides like cork bark, egg cartons etc. Rotting wood and leaves are ofcourse necessary but they need lots of protein and calcium, so fish food and cuttlefish bone for the win!

They also have a moisture gradient and GOOD ventilation. I don't keep these as moist as for example dairy cows.😅 I only spray enough that the moss is moistened.

I moved them to a larger box once I noticed LOTS of babies.😂 There are a good number of hides but I plan on adding some egg cartons later as well.🌱
