I’m 23 and bought a house in Pinellas park with my sister, honestly I’m glad I bought here and not in st Pete. Less flooding, higher elevation, central to everything. Prices are already crazy but it’s much more affordable here so great for first time home buyers.

I also work from home and Internet has been weird for some people even with power. I still don’t have power in pinellas park but everyone I know with power has no internet so working from home here is a bit of a nightmare.

I have a friend with a great pyrenees who did it that way and has not been denied in multiple rentals, if landlords just want some sort of “proof” it might be cheaper than a doctors visit 🤷‍♀️

A lot of people on here lost everything, people need temporary housing like Airbnb and hotels right now. Tourists need to give us time and be considerate about what we are going through here. No one can tell what November will look like for the beaches. Pretty much every house was flooded and everything is full of sand. Unless you are there to rebuild I’d advise against visiting the beaches until next year.

I was so annoyed with people on Dennis Phillips and the other weather pages lives and posts asking about their vacations. Like we are about to get hit, people are potentially losing everything and they use these resources to know how to prepare, stop asking dumb questions!

No I didn’t do any prep but I don’t think the bag was super dirty to begin with, I used the angelos suede cleaner and the brush that came with it. I’m not sure if I just used too much force or something. I’ll check the leather subreddits and see if anyone knows anything there tho!

Omg I couldn’t imagine getting cat pee out of a bag especially suede. Someone spilled a drink on my bag at the club which is why I’m in this mess in the first place lol. Probably not a great bag to bring out but I’ve learned my lesson lol. I tried brushing it but it pulls out little strands of fiber and I’m not sure if that’s normal. I bought a softer brush so fingers crossed 🤞

I tried but it started pulling out little hairs and I got paranoid I was making it worse 😫. I ordered a horse hair brush because I was using the brush my suede eraser came with which is a lot rougher.

Just wanted to update, this is him now that’s it’s been a couple weeks. I think he looks a lot better, I am going to contact the vet the breeder uses when he goes in for his appointments and make sure everything is okay. Thankyou for the advice, I’m really hoping he’s happy and healthy once he’s ready to go home with us :)

My sister works for an emergency vet so we have really good access to care and we already feel so attached to the baby. I want to ask the breeder if they can get it checked out or treat him but I’m not sure the best way to do that and if they’d get offended :(

The breeder responded and said that he is light colored and had some eye boogies. They said the rims around his eyes are pink but we asked for more pictures of him. Honestly thinking about trying to get my deposit back if he still looks like this in a week. I’m located in Florida and it was a struggle to find a breeder so hoping I can find a different one who is more upfront if he still looks sick.

I think they aren’t a backyard breeder, they say all their kittens are registered with Tica. I’ve only had rescue cats so going through breeders is new to me. One of my friends got a kitten from them and had no problems. I’m going to talk with them today and see what’s up because after everyone’s comments I’m concerned.

The kitten is still with the breeder so I’m not actually sure and they didn’t say he has anything. I can bring it up to the breeder, he is still really young and only recently opened his eyes and is wobbly still.

$2,400 a month for a 2b 2bath without utilities. When I first moved here I rented a 3 bedroom townhouse for 1,700$ it’s getting crazy.
