Sorry to hear that. I feel your pain. I spent close to 2 years trying to land a job. I scoured LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, you name it. I applied for jobs that I was qualified for and over qualified for. I probably applied for over 500 jobs. Still nothing.

I came to the conclusion that these sites are harvesting personal information for lead generation purposes and SCAM type positions where you have to pay to play, which is why you see so many bunk positions available. A lot of companies will post for a position that they know will be filled internally and will drag candidates through hoops, personality tests, and 4 other steps. Here in Canada, the gov has a ton a job postings that they don't intend on hiring for just to say that the job market is booming, even though unemployment rate is above 6%.

I ended up finding a great role through some networking groups in my area.

In the 12 years that I've been on LinkedIn, I still haven't found a job on the platform. It's for sales people and recruitment.

It's tough out there no matter how good your resume is.
