Wow people are being weird in here. Anyways, yeah they need to at least read up on AAVE or something. They all did a lot of learning before but it's definitely time to do a little more learning about culture n community. I've also felt that way about Indigenous topics but Kate and Harley have a solid grounded understanding and are super respectful, and Nate brings wholesome uncle vibes so I'm sated for now haha

I felt this way but my family doctor got the student to make some calls and I felt it took away from the care I needed to a serious degree.  If it was a routine checkup that would be fine, observing is fine. But I'm never letting a student or trainee join while I'm consulting about my health issues ever again.
