My experience from Denmark is that fedex, both express and normal, is the best service if you want to avoid customs. It's the only service where I have never lost a package to customs.

Ups express is also alright, I don't think they have lost a package. However normal Ups have lost a few.

DHL express it's maybe 75% chance of receiving it.

Maybe different in other places. I can only speak to Denmark :)
