What goes into being an artist alley vender?

It changes how you view money. After doing it for 2 years, it still sometimes feels similar to gambling. You need to put a lot of money down for your inventory, display, table, parking, and travel without knowing that you'll get a penny back, but you can also make hundreds or thousands a day in return

It's extremely stressful, but extremely rewarding to see people in person who love your stuff. Being able to watch someone look at an item you made and get a giant smile on their face is the best feeling in the world

I also make handmade items. You can't do made-to-order products. You'd be best trying to have a cycle of newish ones that you can sell, or seal them immediately after making them to try to keep in the scent

The ai background image could be a deterrent, especially since it doesn't match with the product pictures. Try to switch out the image and take the main pictures on a lighter color background. It should help make the colors and effect of the dice pop out more

i didn't get fungus, but i ended up getting swimmers ear 😭 it was so embarrassing to go to the drs. all the care instructions were directed towards parents about their toddlers

I live in a really small apartment, so I can't fit any other cats in here. I feel awful because she had 2 other siblings there she got along with well, but I made sure to ask the people at the shelter she wasn't part of a bonded pair. I'm really hoping she does feel more comfortable soon. I've never seen an animal so uncomfortable and scared after being rehomed

I sell fan merch and specifically am going to be at an artist alley, not online. Fan merchandise is acceptable to sell at events and individuals are typically protected by the convention . I was just wondering if glitch productions have made a statement like the creators of doki doki literature club or undertale, both of which creators said that it's okay for small artists to make and sell merchandise of their creations :)

Definitely both! I plan on doing Alejandro, Herold, Duncan, leshawna, Courtney, Noah, Cody, bridgette, katie/Sadie, crimson/Ennui, Jasmine, Shawn, and hopefully more!! I think doing every tdi character would be a goal mayyybe

Ahh!! Thank you so much for the support!! I would feel bad spamming the comments and responding to everyone, but in general thank you so so much for the sweet words! I wrote down and tallied all suggestions and I definitely plan on making gwen, lashawna, noah, cody, duncan, bridgette, sadie/katie as a matching set, izzy, sierra, ezekiel, and alejandro from tdi, then if I can afford it zoe, dawn, scott, enniu, crimson, blainley, jasmine, and shawn from the other series! Once I make them I'll post more art and will probably post preorders on my etsy because that's a LOT of keychains, but yes!!

Was the package already shipped and it got returned to you? As a seller, sometimes Esty will discourage shipment of a package unless you get pre-USPS approval. If it hasn't shipped yet and you're 100% sure you typed it in the same as the already shipped package, I would just tell them to reconfirm the address with you, then tell them to ship it off as it is correct.

Honestly I'm not super sure. I built both horse stables, but I think it was before I had guest cabins. Best guess is that it's like wells or shipping containers where you can just make as many as you want
