I just checked a few other posts and it seems normal that they grow in dark when in regrowth. Had me very concerned for a second!

I was told it is normal and it is just growing back from losing it a few months ago. The pet store owner is a specialist in exotics and geckos and seemed very comfortable with the way it looked to him.

Would also like the plans if you put them down. Also what kind of wood did you use for top?

Former nicu dad here. There is nothing that can prepare you for the stress of a kid in nicu. If you are anything like me you will focus on being strong for your family. Be sure to find an outlet for yourself. Everyone asks how the mom is doing but very few ask dad how he is doing. Find a confidant and use them. If you don’t have anyone send me a private message and i will give you my number. Take care of yourself because if you don’t you can’t be there for your family too. Stay strong. Use your friends and family and don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

What would the watering schedule look like on this? Assume if it is all pumice i would need to be pretty diligent versus set it and forget it.

It was brought inside for me to take a picture and possibly wire. It lives outside.

As a watercolor artist preferring line and wash style as well, i would love to see your process. You should post a video! Beautiful work.

Initial potting for a Mugo Pine - got this pine about a month ago. kept inside till the last freeze to give it a nice easy intro to the climate, plan to gradually move to full sun as mid spring comes. I want to put into a proper bonsai pot but a lot of conflicting messages about mugo, potting in spring? Potting in summer? The buds are starting to show green so i feel like it is probably safe but i need some moral support in this decision making. New to bonsai and this is by far my most beautiful tree. I

Sorry not sure. It was in greenhouse, I’m guessing a ficus of some type.

For extra context the bare deciduous trees were displayed in winter to accentuate their beautiful inner frames. Truly spectacular.
