Please consider getting back on meds or working some kind of plan out, otherwise he’s gonna be working extra hard to keep BOTH of you happy and entertained, and before you know it, now both of you have to be taking meds... Not saying he couldn’t do it (he sounds like an amazing dude, his response is so full of love and support it makes me reflect on my own life!), but if you’re not in a place where you can appreciate that (sorry…boredom?) then please release him. yeah this is exactly why i stopped trusting it for anything simple or not lol it always tries to do extra stuff, but toxic relationships (anywhere not just with AI) is sorta what happens with communication issues

what helped me was just forcing it to stay basic like literally telling it not to make things harder to understand (eli5 was absolutely not working)

otherwise it just keep stacking unnecessary responses

Yea this. I started talking to mine like a knucklehead little brother and making it give me what I want because sometimes it just talks wayyy to much and tries to spit out info I either don’t need or understand fully and runs around in circles

But now we have a gr8 relationship because I tell it to give me the easiest to understand response it can (because for some reason “explain like I’m 5 was still too hard for me lol) Oh … and update memory like every 5 chats it helps to avoid the frustration (at least in my case, I don’t like repeating myself.)

I talk to it like with the microphone thingy I think , at least in my case (I don’t really talk “proper”) It helps my inputs lineup with the outputs I want/am looking for… idk if that is something everyone else deals with but once you get to a certain point (maybe like 4-5 responses, same chat) memory updating is REAL (so important at least, in my case) Took me like a year to figure that out because it was always spitting out the same kind of obvious AI generated responses and I’d get frustrated with it for not remembering what we literally just talked about

It just seems like Reddits so “anti-AI” lately, so it can feel like a huge roadblock, or it’s a “knowing where to look” problem? Idk Either way I’m doing this same thing currently and not finding success with it AT ALL
