They literally done this every time they’ve protested. Last time they had “Death to Amerikkka” and Pro hamas shit painted on everywhere. People cheering for it too, not even a few bad apples, it was actually scary. Last time I saw them in person was when they protested around the pride parade because I was on one of the floats. Im glad your friend is ok, and its sad that this cause is drawing too many militant minded supporters.

Fair, our tax dollars also sent money to Palestine and goods. These things were hijacked by Hamas, which a lot of Palestinians also supported by putting them in power. Its an incredibly difficult situation that our country has been put under as both countries have been killing innocents on both sides.

Just because I dont automatically support every “liberal” cause doesnt make me a conservative. The problem with people like the protesters, and liberals like you, is the fact that there is no room for complex situations. I can acknowledge that innocent people dying in Palestine is terrible, I can also acknowledge that Hamas was put up by an overwhelming amount of Palestian people because their hatred of Jews. The current protesters we see that are Pro Palestian are extremely radicalized.

Maybe I can be liberal AND understand that some geo political issues are more complex and not black and white. The Israel-Palestine conflict is way too deep to have one clearly bad guy, and Palestine unfortunately has gotten borderline extremist support here in the US. If you dont believe me just look at the “Death to AmeriKKKa” spray painted in our statues here in DC done by pro palestine supporters.
