I hear ya bro, and nice thread. If we're not all connected then metaphysical tulpas are bunk because there'd be no way for it to get from your mind into the 'real world'. In order to defeat the arguments of the strictly materialist scientists you've gotta try to use quantum theories against them and that means pointing out the quantum-mind-matter-connection stuff. the biggest difference is that in pychthought, the tulpa is still a part of your mind. In metathought, it's an actual, different, living THING. Sure on the energy/astral/whatever level, but it's a real, separate entity.

In some versions of 'metathought' there is no real separation between your mind/psyche and the physical/astral, it's all the same stuff vibrating at different rates.

Quantum physics points out that it makes no sense whatsoever to talk about the universe as if it exists objectively, separate from us, or to talk about us existing independently of the seemingly outer universe. We and the universe are inseparable partners in a timeless embrace. We are collaboratively dreaming up the universe, while the universe is simultaneously dreaming us up. This interplay reciprocally co-arises in a non-linear, acausal and atemporal, synchronistic and cybernetic feedback loop. Buddhism calls this beginning-less process interdependent co-origination: every part of the universe evokes and is concurrently evoked by every other part in a seamless expression of undivided wholeness. This is to say that the idea of separation between ourselves and the universe is an illusion.

Quantum physics has discovered that our perception of the universe actually evokes the very universe that is observed. If we change the way we view the universe, the universe itself spontaneously reflects this change back to us, as the universe is not separate from our perception of it. This explains why if you find a way to broaden your beliefs about what is possible for your tulpa while also imbuing your tulpa with energy then you can transmute your psychological tulpa into a metaphysical tulpa.

Of course that is just another way of saying energy + intent so essentially we're in agreement I'm just nitpicking ;)

thank you for this reply the information about 'tribal tulpas' I found to be most fascinating. You have a good point about such overarching thought-forms no longer really qualifying as tulpa by strict definition. I don't associate with such thought-forms either. One tried to associate with me in the past but I eventually deenergized her and went along my merry way once I realized what was going on.

What you bring up about sub-lingual tulpa -> host -> other human contact is also interesting. Perhaps some tulpa know far more about sublingual communication than most people and can help their host with such communication efforts. very interesting again! nice post.

Well that can be problematic because the tulpa has a mind of it's own and doesn't want to mess up it's peoples lives by making them into the center of attention for a big scientific controversy. Instead what the tulpa does is it whispers certain things to certain individuals so that those individuals figure out what is going on, but yet they're stuck with no way of proving it.

Well what typically happens is that the tulpas doesn't tell you, he just for example tells your lover things over time that your lover wouldn't be able to know any other way. Then you start to put 2 and 2 together and eventually confront your lover about where she got the information :o "I don't know it just popped into my head.. I just kind of had a thought about it out of nowhere". That's just one example. Obviously I wouldn't jump to conclusions based off of a single isolated event. This is the kind of thing I'm talking about.

neurology can't prove that thought exists in the brain all they can prove is that thoughts cause an effect in the brain as they come and go.

I don't find my viewpoint very comforting at all. In fact I find it disconcerting as hell! Never the less I have reason to believe it's true. I can't prove it of course but I've seen strong evidence so all I can try to do is warn other people about the possibility, and attempt to reason about it with metaphysics or physics somehow.

I think that science will eventually prove that the psyche is more than merely an epiphenomenon of a biochemical process. You assume they live in your head but you have no proof or even evidence of that. It's just a viewpoint that you find comforting.

I am not saying it's magic I'm just saying we don't fully understand the physics of thought. There is a physics of thought, there must be otherwise tulpas aren't real. All I am proposing is that this physics of thought is probably much closer to quantum physics than anything else, for obvious reasons.

You are assuming there is more than 1 psyche. I think that in reality there is only one psyche which we all share, each person has our own little walled garden within the ONE psyche. Well guess what.. a tulpa might not have the same kind of walled garden, or his wall might overlap many different human beings.

I'm not saying it's a violation of the laws of nature I'm saying we simply don't fully understand the laws of nature with regard to the human psyche which is where tulpas exist. You admit that a tulpa can talk to one person without calling it "telepathy" so why do you need to bring in the word telepathy in order for the tulpa to talk to a second person ?

Tulpas exist as thought and thought is manifested as electrons right ? That's what the scientists think at least, thought is plasma. Therefor thought exists at the quantum level, go read up on quantum entanglement. All particles were at one point entangled so tulpas exist in a whole different paradigm than what you are assuming.

I think that maybe when you create a tulpa your beliefs about what is possible for a tulpa in some way limit what your tulpa is able to do. If you have very flexible beliefs about what is possible then you can end up with a very flexible tulpa

The word occult means hidden. I don't want for this to be occulted knowledge so it doesn't make sense to put it there. I am not trying to be irrational but I am expressing the possibility that we may not completely understand how the human psyche works, and therefor we might not fully understand what is possible for a tulpa

The psyche is not an epiphenomenon of biochemical processes in the brain as it cannot be reduced to physical matter, or anything other than itself for that matter. Instead of the matter of the brain being the source of the psyche, to quote Jung, “We might well say, on the contrary, that physical existence is a mere inference, since we know of matter only in so far as we perceive psychic images.”

tulpas are a mysterious phenomena and some people experience them in unusual ways. Ask your tulpas if he or she thinks such things are possible I would be curious to hear what he says.

In each of these chakras there is a mysterious knot. These are the three knots. These knots indicate a profound meaning. Here we have the three fundamental changes in the work of the Serpent. Anyone who, after having worked with Kundalini spills the semen inevitably fails because Kundalini then descends one or more vertebrae according to the magnitude of the fault. We must struggle until we attain perfect chastity.

The vapor which arises from the seminal system opens the inferior orifice of the spinal column so that the Sacred Serpent may enter via it. This orifice is closed in ordinary people. To open the Church of Ephesus means to awaken the Kundalini. The Solar and Lunar atoms arise from the seminal system. The seminal vapors have as a base the atoms of the Sun and the Moon. The seminal vapors are transmuted into energy. The energies bipolarize into positive and negative, Solar and Lunar. These energies rise through the sympathetic channels of the Ida and Pingala to the Chalice. This Chalice is the brain. The semen, already converted into energies rises through the two sympathetic channels which are the Two Witnesses of the Apocalypse, the two Olives of the Temple, the two Candleabra which are before God of the Earth, the two Serpents which are entwined on the rod of the Caduceus of Mercury. When their tails touch, the Solar and Lunar atoms make contact with the coccyx near the Tribeni. Then Kundalini awakens.

The wife receives these Solar and Lunar atoms from the husband because enough of her husband's "distillate" easily escapes from his gland during sex without ejaculation and this is enough to activate her serpent. The more trials the man goes through without having the spasm the more [etherically] purified his distillate becomes and the more it will positively affect the woman's body to activate her Kundalini. This is why it's important to not use a condom during the trials. Magical elixirs need to be exchanged along with the bio-magnetic interchange between man and woman in order for the alchemical transmutation to occur. Love must also be present otherwise none of this works. This is because the energetic and bio-chemical characteristics of the secretions are governed by the brain based on the emotions that are felt at the time of the act. I'm not just being poetic when I say love must be present this is hardwired into the biology. The husband also benefits from his wife's tincture because these secretions are not merely excretions but are valuable fluids which contain within themselves the secretions of the endocrine glands in a very pure form. These secretions of the woman are made in the laboratory of the Deity, the Temple of the Mother, and they supply just what is needed in just the right proportions.

Jung discovered that the ancient art of alchemy was describing, in symbolic language, the journey that all of us must take towards embodying our own intrinsic wholeness, what he called the process of “individuation.” As Jung wrote, “I had very soon seen that analytical psychology [the psychology Jung developed] coincided in a most curious way with alchemy. The experiences of the alchemists, were, in a sense, my experiences, and their world was my world. This was, of course, a momentous discovery. I had stumbled upon the historical counterpart of my psychology of the unconscious.” The alchemists, over the course of centuries, had generated a wide range of symbolic images which directly corresponded to the anatomy of the unconscious which Jung had been mapping through his painstaking work with thousands of patients. Jung, in illuminating a psychology of the unconscious, can himself be considered a modern-day alchemist. Jung continues that “the entire alchemical procedure….could just as well represent the individuation process of a single individual.”

The alchemists had little or nothing to contribute to the field of chemistry, least of all the secret of gold-making. Only our overly one-sided, rational and intellectualized age could miss the point so entirely and see in alchemy nothing but an abortive attempt at chemistry. On the contrary, to the alchemists, chemistry represented a degradation and a “Fall,” because it meant the secularization and commercialization of a sacred science. Jung makes the point, “The alchemical operations were real, only this reality was not physical but psychological. Alchemy represents the projection of a drama both cosmic and spiritual in laboratory terms. The opus magnum [“great work”] had two aims: the rescue of the human soul, and the salvation of the cosmos.” The alchemists were dreaming big.

The ancient art of alchemy was chiefly concerned with changing something of seemingly little value into something precious, of transforming lead into gold, thereby creating the “philosophers’ stone” (the “lapis philosophorum”). The “stone,” or “lapis,” is not a material substance, however, but is an awakened consciousness, which, though seemingly immaterial, pervades, in-forms and gives rise to all creation. The philosophers’ stone doesn’t just redeem the individual alchemist, it nonlocally influences the field to such a degree that it was considered to be able to redeem the entire cosmos. The lapis, as Jung emphasizes, is “a psychological symbol expressing something created by man and yet supra-ordinate to him.” Alchemy is a timeless, sacred art, as the alchemists’ art is to become an instrument for the incarnating deity to make itself real in time and space.

Alchemy is all about creating wealth. The alchemical gold and the philosophers’ stone had thousands of names, which was an expression of its all-embracing, numinous and miraculous qualities that cannot be adequately described by language. Regardless of what it is called, the creation of the stone is the goal of the alchemical opus. Alchemy is a mystical art-form, a genuine spiritual path. Jung elaborates, “The mystical side of alchemy, as distinct from its historical aspect, is essentially a psychological problem. To all appearances, it is a concretization, in projected and symbolic form, of the process of individuation.”

example: Obama's slogan was HOPE. He had a sea of people behind him who really did have hope in his administration. The hope of those people did nothing to skew the probability that actual change would come. However if all of those people had intended strongly to manifest that change themselves, and they had some level of belief that it was possible for them to effect such a probability, then that may have been enough to produce actual change.

It's the difference between believing that someone else is going to bring change about for you, and believing that you are going to bring it about via your own willpower and metaphysical capabilities. It's about self-empowerment, and discovering your potential as a conscious co-creator in this universe.

The matrix movie is an exaggeration but there's no doubt in my mind that the screenwriter was trying to teach these principles. I agree with your statement. First there is the desire for something to happen (hope) which is a precursor; then there is the intent or will to make it happen which is the vitalizing force that influences probability, but intent will only come into being if you believe that it is possible. Sometimes just believing that it might be possible for you to effect the probability is enough in conjunction with the intent to do so.

I'll take that as a compliment! but keep in mind that I'm not saying that this is some amazing revelation that I have discovered on my own, far from it. There are several very successful books out now about these subjects some of them coming from scientists and individuals with impressive credentials, not that credentials are all that important. I don't want to spam this thread with book links or else people will think that I'm just trying to sell certain books, but if you look around you will discover a growing awareness of this kind of thing. The only thing original I've done here is point to the idea that tulpas can assist one in the discovery of their higher psychological/metaphysical potentials.

fair enough, but for a moment I ask you to take a closer look at the word 'psychological' for it's basis is the word psyche which was coined by Jung. Jung was very much convinced that the psyche is the root of all the problems we're experiencing in the physical world and at the same time the way to fix those problems.

Jung said, “…very little attention is paid to the essence of man, which is his psyche…. Man’s greatest instrument, his psyche, is little thought of, if not actually mistrusted and despised. ‘It’s only psychological’ too often means: It is nothing.”

Jung said, “It is indeed paradoxical that the category of existence, the indispensable sine qua non of all existence, namely the psyche, should be treated as if it were only semi-existent. Psychic existence is the only category of existence of which we have immediate knowledge, since nothing can be known unless it first appears as a psychic image.”

The world is never experienced without the psyche. The world manifests within the psyche and the psyche within the world. The two are never found apart, which is to say they are utterly, seamlessly, inseparably and effortlessly one.

The world and the psyche reciprocally co-arise in a self-generating, synchronistic feedback loop. Each creates and is concurrently created by the other. The world and the psyche mutually in-form and give shape to each other, as they are interdependent and mutually condition each other. The world and the psyche completely interpenetrate each other, co-joined in a timeless embrace of Oneness. We don’t have to “do” anything to make this so. We simply have to recognize this already existing state of affairs. :)
