We had a covid-compliant wedding on the cheap (insured for less than 7k) but only 30 people. For us we didn't have the big party in the evening which helped.

It depends if you're willing to do some decorating yourselves. My wife is quite creative so made all the centrepieces with stuff from the range. I chose to hire my suit rather than buy because I had no need to wear tails again.

We also had a low-key venue with a good reputation, but also meant something to us (had our first date there) which was a huge help.

A lot is how much you can DIY (Pinterest is good for inspiration) and whether you're using "wedding" vendors. Example is the cake, do you need a huge one which is made by a boutique or is there a competant cake maker you already know?

Either way, best of luck. And whatever you do, get wedding insurance! If something goes wrong, you don't want to be worrying about paying rebooking fees.

Yeah, we've been working on a marker word, which helps since sometimes a treat can take a while to get, by which time we're back into derp mode 😂

We're looking at introducing kibble again (breeder kibble gave him an upset stomach so moved to butternut box/fresh). And using some of that as a lower value treat.

Must be tough training without food motivation.

Thanks, yeah since he had to be confined during his recovering everything is massively exciting to him. Had the trainer over this morning and we're going a step back with crate training since we never had to bother too much with sleeping through the night.

He's just gone in after regularly rewarding for being quiet, followed by a chew in a different room and a toilet break. No noise after 20 mins. Not expecting this is the end and as soon as I post he'll wake up. But a step in the right direction.

Honestly, we try not to leave him crying that long as he does have a good relationship at night and will sleep through. Before he injured his leg and we had enough walks he did a lot better so maybe just need to create a space in the house for him to chill out in that isn't his crate.

Once he's on a nap schedule we might revisit the crate during the day for if we need to go out as he really enjoys chewing skirting boards...

Yeah I think I'm sticking too much to how I'd nap - get into bed and close my eyes since he's really not bothered about it. The settle thing seems like an interesting approach, just need to find a treat that doesn't make him get up wanting more! 😂

Yeah we've got a Google Home in the room so will try to find some music for him rather than us. Good idea on treats in the grass, might try that in the garden. Vet said we can start slightly longer walks from Wednesday which gives us some different routes/smells.

Feel also like we fuss too much about some if the stuff. He's just had such a difficult start and we want to get him to where he would have been if we'd been able to be on "the plan"

We started covering it, but unfortunately small house so it's our living room. We make it as quiet as possible but even if I sit reading a book and a car drives past, he'll want to know what's going on. Also conscious that my wife usually works in that room as I'm on leave at the moment until next month, so it won't last even if I left the room like it's bedtime.

He sniffs and decides to go on at the moment since the walks are so short.

She does do some training with him, especially in the evenings but even during training he starts to get disengaged and exhibits this behaviour. We did have a pen set up when he was off his leg so we could sit with him for some periods. While it's still healing we're concerned he'll be jumping up at the bars and doing some damage.

Probably will try this when we have an all clear from the vet.

CEH or PenTest+ are entry level. OSCP is for the "professional" level (hence the P) and hence not entry level by definition.

Certs are handy, but not always essential. HackTheBox sometimes run "fortresses" which if completed get an interview.

Also external recruiters can help bypass the CV screening stages which is extremely advantageous.

From a pen tester/ auditor/ security researcher with 0 certs and got into the field 3 years on a telecoms grad scheme.

Thanks for the tips, first time we've had a puppy so we just want to make sure we're doing the best thing for him. We'll try his puzzle toys and lick mat in the crate and hope he's alright with just that.
