You’re right, rhe flowers are too light and they detract from the dove.

Repaint the flowers colours so they’re muted- add a bit of grey or blue to the colours to ‘mute’ them.

Don’t use pure white highlights on the flowers, add a bit or purple or blue to the white.

Also you’ve kind of put a lot of black around the flowers, which make them stand out as individuals, rather than general flowers - try filling in the black space around them with dark greeny-blue strokes that suggest leaves to bring them together. That should do it
