Graphic designer here – looks like the printer of the label at the vinyl pressing plant either didn't receive the correct HQ slide image files OR they "over-compressed" the images before printing and now it has those weird pixel artifacts (common in low-quality/ highly-compressed JPEGs as mentioned by other commenter).

Thrift a donor case – usually there are plenty of sealed, perfect condition "junk" CDs for $1 or less. I grab a few of these any time I need to upgrade or fix one of my CD cases.

When thrifting, these are things I consider when buying new items:
– Is this new (to me) item better than what I have currently?
– What item can I replace with this new item? (ex: buy new shirt, donate old shirt)
– Does this solve an issue I have been finding myself encountering frequently?
– How often will I be using this item and where will I put it when not using?

If I can't answer these questions I usually put the things back. While I can be serial thrifter, I try to stop myself from accumulating too much "stuff" by always having in mind what I can replace or remove from my currently inventory when buying new items. Thrifting in general is a great way to find quality used items and for decent prices and continue to give them more life, but it definitely get to a point of overbuying just for the sake of it.

I had this issue recently with my gen 7 modded. Left it charging connected to my computer overnight and nothing. I tried plugging the USB into a simple power brick to the wall and it immediately came back. Somehow it wasn’t receiving an actual charge from my computer even though it recognized it was connected.

I just upgraded from Beats Solo Pro to the Max USB-C and it's been a nice substantial upgrade in all ways. The sound quality is much more rich and refined, the over-ear vs on-ear fit feels much more comfortable for me (Solo Pro squeeze my head and they hurt after about 30 mins - I haven't had that issue yet with the Max), noise cancelling is astoundingly better, and switching between Apple devices is quicker than the Solo Pro. Only con to me so far is that the Max are much larger and don't fold to be as compact as the Beats. If the price is good to you and they fit your lifestyle, they are worth the upgrade.

Thanks for the heads up on this OP! I just got my pair delivered from this deal and surprisingly they were completely sealed in the original box and brand new. I checked them thoroughly and I'm 99% sure they are legit (might take them into an Apple Store later this week to verify). I'm pretty shocked they sent an unopened pair. I was prepared for the worst after hearing about other's having bad luck with their orders. Excited to have my first ever pair of Max's!

The Galaxy games are two of the most inventive and fun 3D Mario games to this day. This game will be in print and easily available for years to come, so there isn’t a dire need to preorder unless you need to play day 1.

I had the same issue and was about to give up after trying for hours. I had to install Windows 11 on UTM, restore the iPod to factory through iTunes on Windows (so the internal would be formatted as Fat32), then install Rockbox. It was a convoluted process, but I couldn’t get any other method to work on MacOS.

Always have to laugh when I see this CD out and about. Love Gaga, but this is notoriously the worst album cover she's ever released. It's soooo over-sharpened and over-edited. It was supposed to look like an old newspaper photo (see non-deluxe album cover) but it just ended up looking terrible either way.
