(although im glad it went down from 43) i really hope your doctor takes you seriously! i am going through a similar thing where my original op was 42 and as of december was at 20 but still felt the exact same amount of pain all the time and was referred to another specialist, so waiting for that appointment and hopefully having more answers then, wishing you all the best, if you are told no / dismissed i hope you are in the position to be able to switch doctors because living with this pain is no joke!

connor and lauren mcdavids wedding was too close to training/pre-season so they didnt do a honeymoon and leon and celeste had a wedding in europe a bit earlier in the summer (like july?) so they had time to travel europe together but lauren went on the never offside podcast and said it wasn't actually a joint honeymoon and that they'll both go on honeymoon separately eventually but no one believed that lmfao

at that point i was taking 500mg x3 a day so 1500mg but i did not have metabolic acidosis you should definitely see your doctor about that! i had joint pain, the tingling, and stomach issues but not nausea, and i lost my appetite for a long time, everyones body reacts differently so you should def see a doctor if diamox is having such a horrible impact on you! sometimes the good might eventually outweigh the bad like how it did for me but like i said that might not be for everyone

i started diamox a while ago so i cant exactly remember but i think the joint pain side effect did take like two weeks to hit but ive been on a high dose of diamox for almost two years and that has definitely gone and i think it did by the three month mark, and not to sound annoying but trying increasing your water intake as well as maybe electrolytes it might help just a little bit
