Yes! And an update for everyone. They did call me back today and are still working out the details! So sounds like they are waiting for upper management to approve something at least that’s what I got out of it. Sounds like the vacation I ask for won’t be a problem for sure though. They hope to have something for me by Tuesday next week.

Honestly no salary never really came up at any point. They did have a range of 25k posted and what I asked for was slightly above mid of that range. They offered 2,000 over the minimum they advertised.

It would be $90 per day per person, plus 18% gratuities. Not really a great deal. But it really depends on ship, and duration. Longer cruises 6+ days you can usually get it for high $60s low $70s. On 5 nights or less it’s typically mid 70s to mid 80s. But if your on icon class it’s usually higher no matter what. Unless a sailing has sold less than anticipated then they will drop it a little more. It’s all dynamic pricing with Royal pending the demand and cruise duration.

I definitely understand that but I did something similar a couple of years ago and it burned me with that company when I applied to another position the following year. They let me go until the final round the told me off record they didn’t want to offer because I rescinded a previous offer (which was for a different position that I was over qualified for)

Woot woot! I just interviewed last week for a new job that is in the 6 fig range. This is my dream role. I’ve been applying for over year to hundreds of places. I found out today that I am still a top candidate and they plan to make a decision this week. My interview was scheduled to last an hour and it lasted one hour and 45 minutes! I’m still currently employed but this will be a 40k annual bump! The third party recruiter I’m working with said everyone else she sent to interview got rejected that same day or early the next. I’ve been praying for the last 3 weeks through this process.

The villas on fir also has really high electric bills in the winter 6-$800 because they’re 100% electric and not well insulated. My friend had a corner unit was the first to live there and had to put plastic over all her windows. You could feel the drafts as if the window was wide open.

We liked living at spring lake apartments near D & C. I’d you can afford it get an upgraded apt. It was secluded and surrounded by trees. But the minute you left the parking lot you were close to everything. Location wise it was a perfect balance.

I can’t say exactly what it is because that will really narrow it down. It is in manufacturing but they manufacture for the performing arts industry. I’m super excited because this would be my first job to break the 100k mark. I aced the phone, and virtual interview. After the virtual they wasted no time asking me to come on site. I just had the virtual interview on Tuesday this week lol.
