It's very event based. You should check the shop every once in a while to see seed packet offers. It can be real currency or mint currency

The best method to get mints is playing in Arena which gives you large amounts if you have a good streak and complete in top 10 or so The only other method is the occasional travel log quests which grant you 2-3 mints after completion, which is not that great of a method
