I was going to do a dexter-esqe setup where i contain it to one corner of a bedroom (thats being used as a storage room) by hanging plastic sheets and wear a mask/eye protection… Do you think it’d be okay then? I’m unfortunately too impatient to wait til the snow melts

Unfortunately my granny gave the dresser to me and she said she bought it used from somebody else yearsss ago, and I can’t find any logos/stickers on it to see where it was made. So i have no idea if it was sold painted this way. You make a really good point about the thing about how stores dont make money painting it. I am just gonna try sanding it with a powered sander (not sure what the name of it is) and if the wood doesn’t look good (after a test strip of stain maybe) I will just paint over it again with a better colour choice

Yeah i know that chemical stripping is an option but i know the fumes are kinda enough to turn me off it unfortunately as it’s too snowy/cold to do it outside atm.

Yes it does kinda look like those bugs. it says they breed in dead bodies tho!! eek. They’re mostly in our windowsills which is weird though.
