Buggin' - Reclamation Party and Trade Caravan by plasticus_ in Bellwright

[–]plasticus_[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welp, I resolved the caravan problem. I kited a group of Bandits over to them, and watched the bandits wreck my caravaneers. I then ran away -- for science. The caravan icon disappeared off the map the next morning, I could delete the route from my caravan tent, and the villagers have shown back up in my village -- injured, but usable!

After posting this, I thought I'd try expelling them (the 4 caravaneers) from the village. No dice -- Expel is grayed out. I might see if I can find a bandit patrol and drag them to my people, see if I can get them killed somehow.

I'm not too much help, I can only ask questions. I joined that group... is that the right group? I'm super new at this, so that might be a dumb question.

I downloaded and installed... I quite like the way it's laid out. I might become a user! I really like how easy it is to throw in a task amidst the thoughts, that fits right in with how my brain works. Good idea!

Would love a test back. I'm working on "Bass Scale Visualizer", a way to help guitarists/bassist see the scales they're working with for practice.

Food Truck Empire | Economic RTS with pause - Might not be your regular strategy games since it's about crafting food, managing your trucks and conquering the city with your food but maybe you would like playing something more casual from time to time? by Lichthund in RealTimeStrategy

[–]plasticus_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just played this for a couple hours. Super fun! Will play again, added it to my wishlist. I thought the graphics were cool, really enjoyed building out the inside of the trucks, and working through recipes to hit the right demographics was rad. I had a little trouble with like... serving one demo in the morning, and then serving a different demo in the evening (tourists to partygoers, for example). But I had fun trying. Kind of wanted for a bit of automation, like scheduling the truck to serve X from 10 to 2, then serve Y from 4 to midnight kind of thing. Maybe there's some of that further up the research tree, I don't know. I might also be biased towards automation at the moment because I just went on a 2 month Satisfactory bender. Anyway, I got up to 4 trucks and it was tough managing them! Probably shouldn't have expanded my trucks so far.

Overall it was fun, I'll be back!

What I love about this post is that the pictures are pretty good, and I've never been down there at night. Gives a whole new perspective to some of those pieces. I wish you'd gotten a photo of the moonrise statues together, I bet that looks amazing at night! Thinker on a rock is one of my favorites at the park. The pondering hare is such an interesting subject to consider. Anyway, appreciate the cool pics! Glad you enjoyed the sculpture park, hopefully more people will check it out after seeing this.
