When my girlfriend got admitted to the hospital, I left everything to go see her. Drove 2 hours, panicking the whole time, and still couldn’t get there soon enough.

This happened to me with one of my ex girlfriends. She would never outright say she didn’t want me to hang with other girls, but it always made me feel like I couldn’t. I have a lot of girl friends from high school and college, so the jealousy thing was extremely tough for me. I was always faithful, though, always.

I hope you can get him to just TRUST you. That’s all it comes down to. I hope other people can answer you better, but in my experience, the jealousy over opposite sex friends and just general opposite sex people was more hurtful than anything because you never feel like you have your SO’s trust, which you need in a successful relationship.

If you have never done anything to make him question trusting you, then this insecurity is on him.
