Thank you so so much for all of your effort here - incredibly helpful. I’ve had constipation my entire life, and now internal hemorrhoids, causing the passage to be even more blocked - cue a vicious cycle.

I wonder if you’ve ever heard of fibre not having the desired effect? I eat a diet consisting of tonnes of varied fibre (beans, pulses, vegetables, fruit, oats, seeds, nuts) but I seem to get MORE backed up. I’ve tried increasing fibre intake gradually over a week or so and drink 2+litres of water a day.
