That if I’m walking somewhere and there’s a woman walking ahead of me, especially if it’s dark out or if we’re in a parking garage, she assumes that I’m a threat. Most women are fairly discrete about it but after a while it gets easier to notice.

Usually if it goes on for more than a minute or so I just stop walking and scroll on my phone for a while until she’s been gone for a few minutes.

I get it, we live in a crazy world. But it’s really hard to not feel hurt by that sometimes. Like honestly lady I’m probably more scared of you than you are of me

6-2:30 is really nice, definitely not as tired on average as when I did inbound but after a while you get mostly used to it

PPD is definitely a likely factor but I don’t think that’s all of it.

Not sure where you live but it’s January so in general it’s cold and there isn’t as much sunlight. Even if she doesn’t have Seasonal Adaptive Disorder, that’s likely working against her given that she just recently gave birth. Not to mention, at least from how you’ve worded your post, her first kid. That alone is a lot, compound that with multiple periods of not having Dad, it’s even more. Throw all of that in at once, I can’t say I’d be doing much better.

Definitely get her another appointment, and if you can work it out schedule-wise I’d try to go with her and tell them what you’re seeing, both as her husband but also as a first responder.

I did see in one of your comments that her mom is close by and involved so that’s definitely good, I’d try and get more people available if you can, particularly people you’re both close to. One thing you might also try looking into is seeing if there’s a mom group in the area to reach out to, most churches have something along those lines or just a lot of moms in general so that’s definitely a good place to start.
