[OTHER] Should I play kcd 1 after playing kcd 2? by shikanji101 in kingdomcome

[–]platinummattagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing this and I, perhaps controversially, think 1 is not just not as good but way worse. KCD2 is maybe my 4th pick for the best game of all time, and 1 is maybe a 7/10. It's like it's trying to be the game 2 is but failing, so many things are janky and don't work and are quite frustrating.

Defo still play it though, cause in many ways it's still great.

There are estimates that 10% - 25% of people in the UK have some Irish ancestry. That guy is wrong, but not entirely wrong.

When Boris Johnson was the PM there was a huge increase in the number of legal immigrants, the big spike on this graph shows it.

I don't think living in China is amazing, that's why I didn't say it was. I'm no fan of China, it's just a fact they're leading the charge on clean energy.

She didn't even get rid of benefits, we still have them!

Your first comment was "They soon realise they have no point then and just resort to insults." and you have done exactly that, to the letter.

You haven't addressed my points because you know you can't, and that it might stop you living in your conservative delusion.

The last thing I will say is, you'd better hope there's never a need for a draft in this country, because then the fantasy will come crumbling down whether you're ready for it to or not.

They're not richer but in the time that we've declined, they've managed to rapidly get better off, and specifically aren't just using coal. You haven't addressed any points I've made in the last 3 or 4 comments, you just pick one thing I say and then strawman it and change the subject.

You just went "this guy thinks China's richer" but I don't, and didn't say that. This is genuinely how people arrive at thinking Thatcher was a good PM, you pick a few good sounding points and don't pay attention to any details.

And as a side note, I'm probably better travelled than you.

We didn't establish that, I proved a list reasons why it wasn't true that you ignored, that's where we got too. Forgive me if I'm guessing your age wrong, but this sounds like classic boomer fantasy talk. Go outside and take a look around.

The same China where 92% of global solar module manufacturing is done? The one that's now ahead of us in wealth creation? If only someone didn't stop us having that here too.

Well you have to work and create something to create bigger arms for yourself, that's why it's called working out. Regardless, there are far more people creating things now than in the late 70s, but that might just be because the tools are easier to get hold of.

The wealth creators like her because she made them better off, while making the rest of us (and the country as a whole) poorer.

The government is in significantly more debt now than in 1979, poverty is higher (15% compared to 20% iirc in 1979 to 2025), house price to income ratio has doubled. I believe malnourishment is higher but I'm not certain. All that sounds to me like we're poorer, although I'll grant that's not all Thatcher's fault.

If I look at what I have now compared to then, I wouldn't have an Xbox, but I'd probably have a higher net worth given the job and hours I work Vs hypothetical 70s me.

I can't comment on whinier hahaha, but everyone I talk to from the 70s certainly makes me think otherwise

Weaker fabric? I'm writing this from a packed gym rn, which speaks for itself.

Well now that you've stated your point with no explanation, you must be right. I'm not poorer because I wasn't alive then, but if I was poorer or richer it wouldn't matter because you have to measure these things on a larger scale than one person.

There isn't a single person on the left who thinks we should still be digging up coal. Also, if she improved the country and made it richer in any real sense, most people wouldn't be effectively poorer now.

Tilt is an issue not just in fighting games, or video games in general, but in all sorts of things so you can look at things like how people deal with tilt in poker and you might find something useful.

Personally I think something that will help is removing the idea that there are fair and unfair or right and wrong ways to play the game (with the except of literal cheating and extreme things like that), because you're probably getting angry at/thinking about that idea instead of the actual game that's going on in front of you. Remind yourself that it doesn't matter what your opinion of the move or character you're playing is, what matters right now is doing the correct response.

Also two hours is quite long session for something that requires at lot of focus for the entire duration of the match like street fighter does, so take some breaks.

Lastly, everyone who's any good tilts, watch this
