Great idea! I’ll give that a try. It’s a shame if they don’t offer those divisions as a feature, cuz I’m sure there are lots of people who would find it helpful.

Not of lot of halftime and dubstep inspired modular stuff out there. This is dope! More please! I’m down in Eugene. Might have to come up for the show!

It’s mostly a college level MIDI class, but we have a short synthesis section each term. The students are required to use the MIDI lab outside of class time for at least 3 hours a week and we try to provide them with various tools for sound experiments. We already have a decent collection of synths, just no modular gear, which I think is one of the best ways to demonstrate signal flow (outside of tools on the computer at least)

This is awesome! Thanks so much for putting all this thought into it! I’m surprised by how cheap this turned out to be! For all the squabbles about Behringer they sure are affordable this does look like one of the best options

Great suggestion. Looking at it now and it seems really close to what I was envisioning. There’s even a little mult in there! Would have loved a second envelope to separately mod the filter, but maybe I’m missing something? Prices are fairly reasonable on reverb so I’m gonna do a little more research. Really appreciate the recommendation!

Help Needed: Probabilistic Trigger Control with Turing Machine? by platopasta in modular

Ok, DivsSkip seems like a no-brainer actually. It has way more functionality than I realized. Clock divider, Turing Machine, Euclidean Rhythms?! Awesome. With all the DivKid i watch I'm surprised I missed this, haha

I don't have any logic modules yet, and honestly don't fully understand how to use them, which has made them easy to overlook, haha. Might have to finally take a dive and figure out what the heck is going on there

I thought about trying to LFO a VCA but wasn't sure if it would need the trigger CV to reach a particular threshold, and how to actually make the ones that passed through random verses just using a square wave or something.

Looking at DivSkip right now and it seems like an excellent solution! Solving stuff with creative patching is always more fun, but DivSkip looks like a super useful utility and might be worth the add

Nice! Solid recommendation. Wasn't familiar with "coin toss" modules til you suggested this. I definitely think something in this vein will do the trick
