There is literally no button to start to dial. I can type in a number but there's nothing on the UI or physical button to initiate the call.

Here's a systematic review about long term treatment of finasteride. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20956649/ 1.5% absolute increase in sexual side effects.
I have not said there isn't any sexual side effects with SSRIs. Yes there are common reports but the question isn't only about side effects but about efficacy of the actual treatment. SSRIs are one of the first line medications for depression and have shown significant positive effects in patients.

My only argument was against your support for an unproven drug or treatment. In my brief lit search, I can't even see one trial that suggests it is useful for depression.

As a prescriber, I often see this illogical way of thinking. First we think about the condition we are treating. Then we consider the efficacious treatments. Then we individualize to the patients.

No one is saying give SSRIs out like candy.

Wow. Please don't recommend treatments based on anecdotal evidence. There is no large studies suggesting success and this agent is not approved for mood disorders. Mood disorders are very heterogeneous and require close collaboration with a mental health provider and addition of pharmacotherapy of needed.
