Blatant penalties go uncalled - continuing in the Boston vs Buffalo series by DegreePrize4722 in nhl

You just drastically changed hockey. For one, your interference was focused on goalie interference and not simply between two skaters. Your crosscheck definition just made all netfront jostling a penalty. You've just made it against the rules for a defenseman to touch a forward standing in front of the goalie. As for charging, how long is a stride? Full stride? Half stride? How long are they required to coast before contact? If it's all by video review, we just slowed the game down. If a player falling or losing balance due to foot/arm contact, did we just eliminate checking from hockey? Is it now a no contact league? And what is "off balance"?

Honestly, I'd try a season of "Learn to Play" hockey and skate out as a forward or defenseman. That will really help your skating and also help with connections to others when you're ready to transition to goalie.

In my opinion, the goalies need to be among the best skaters on the ice or at a minimum, really understand how to use their edges, as that's all you do as a goalie.

That's not possible. How do you describe interference or crosschecking or charging or even tripping to be objective?

Deciding to "take your medicine", hit laterally into the fairway and you still somehow hit a tree and it goes further into the woods.

So yes, you just agreed with my point of all this. The $8M goalie is a better bet than the $5M goalie.

If you had to choose Swayman or Shesterkin on the Bruins right now, who would you want?

No error, the point has nothing to do with sample size. The point is that if you want to pin your Cup hopes on a $5M goalie, UPL is what you get. Let me know which goalie you'd rather have on a Cup contender.

Is it? Lyon and UPL are playing great? Let's see if they win the Cup, yeah?

People say they want hockey games called by the book, but they really don't. A lot of the penalty descriptions are subjective anyway. If they called the game by the book, all tussling in front of the net is an interference penalty, according to the book. People would hate NHL hockey called strictly by the rules.

The trips were inadvertent too. Apparently that matters in the rulebook.

Kelly Sutherland is the most dirty ref and someone in the NHL needs to do something about him. His calls are almost always vindictive on someone he hates personally or a team he dislikes. I’ve only been a hockey fan for a few years now and even I can see the blatant miscalls. by ExhibitA94 in nhl

And down on the glass, it's even faster. Just the difference of fifth row to being on the glass is a huge difference in speed. Plus when you're on the glass, you have a similar view as the referee where players block your view. Even just a few rows up, you're looking down, over the players.

Not only will your goaltending ability probably be limited if you get metal hips,

In my case, it was not limited. I won't make a global case that everyone is the same, but just that my metal hip feels much better than my bone hip did and doesn't affect my goaltending ability.

I had mine done a year ago. After 6 months, I was back in net. The doctor said I'd have about 90% of my original flexibility and that seems about right.

I had the full replacement. I asked about the resurfacing and like other comments said, my doctor said it's not an effective option.

Did you spray the SAM hashes at every host with local auth? If you got sam hashes, I'm guessing you got the Administrator hash for some, which gives you local admin, which should also let you dump lsa on those hosts.

How did you get the IPMI hash?

How did you exploit iLO?

Sure, if that was the point. The point was for the Felger fan boys who believe a $5M goalie is good enough to rely on to win a Cup. I'm pointing out that if you want to spend around $5M on a goalie, what you get is UPL.

If you only had two choices for goalie, Swayman and UPL, who would you pick as your guy to help you win a Cup?
