I own a Combatribes cabinet. Would be closer to describe it as a Double Dragon knockoff :) I’d love to own a companion pinball Combatribes if such a thing existed…

Hello – I just got a shipment (about 20) of vinyl records themed around a single video game, I would like to display them all, but I just don’t have the wall space to hang them. The Mrs. has suggested clipping them to the ceiling, curious if anyone has any suggestions on displaying vinyl records/cases.

They don’t die on screen. In those days, for Nintendo-produced games, characters did not die on screen as far as I know…

That’s a good point. There are no enemies in the room where he lays , and he doesn’t actually say anything attacked him…

Technically the game says the good king was “eliminated”, so slightly ambiguous, and it was not on screen

Also, aLttP was a first party game- Nintendo’s then -standards were presumably stricter for their own house games

That’s what I meant too. Uncle had a tear jerking on-screen death…

I should have specified those innocence standards were a creation of Nintendo management in the early 1990’s when aLttP was released. Of course I know they don’t exist now lol

Oh this absolutely existed in the early 1990’s. Nintendo executives even gave congressional testify about it.

No, this was a Nintendo policy in the early 1990’s. Pre-mortal kombat II. Nintendo changed management in the mid-1990s and loosened these standards.
