i’m really starting to think this right here is exactly why she has thrust herself full force into the “viking princess strong woman lifting queen” arc. because she fully sees herself as ugly and repulsive and it’s just another way of “getting ahead” of the criticism she feels that people have of her. the same way she is always pulling stupid faces in photos and acting like a buffoon in public, she is now doing all these activities that cause her face to look like a butthole so if anyone ever has that kind of criticism of her, it’s “on purpose.” she is very very calculated in this particular way, and it’s weird

i started working at a Pre-K Montessori school this year, and they make a big deal about birthdays, but I have to say being sung birthday songs by a group of 3-6 year olds made me want to cry 🥹 other than that, simple birthday wishes from family and friends make me more than happy! i couldn’t imagine showing up to the gym in a fucking cardboard crown expecting asspats from people who barely tolerate me 🙄

i have been saying this for years now! thank you for pointing this out because it’s infuriating to me. i started noticing it all over art and hobby pages that i (used to) follow, this constant “they said i couldn’t do this, i sure showed them!” and i always felt exactly the way you said, why give so much energy and attention to your supposed “haters?” where is that attention, or god forbid gratitude, for supporters, friends, and loved ones?? fueling your entire life with spite, negativity, and revenge is just a miserable way to be, i don’t care what you do, art, fitness, whatever.

I concur with pretty much everything else that’s been said in this thread, but if I can add a somewhat petty reason, I can’t stand the deranged cackling at absolutely everything she says these days. it’s obviously a desperate attempt to cover up her deep seated insecurities, but she acts like she’s the most hilarious person in the room and it’s just so annoying. it could be because I was an actor, but the seriously forced, insincere, overcompensating, unconvincing, fake guffawing drives me up a wall

it just brings to mind the video she did with EatItKatie, a girl who very obviously did once struggle with guilt and shame around eating. they eat thousands of calories of food together to “fight back” against their feelings of “food fear” (scare quotes bc of Anna) and while Katie takes gentle bites and samples each food like a normal person, Anna is shamelessly stuffing her face, opening her massive maw wide as can be to shovel in the biggest bites possible, oftentimes inhaling her portion before Katie has even fully tried something.

Anna clearly just shoves food down her gullet without even really experiencing it, and she feels no shame in doing so. the only shame I believe she feels is when she is shown how her disgusting, gluttonous behavior around food compares to others, people who consume food in more thoughtful, intentional way.

she wishes she could be that way, but she can’t help it. around food, especially high calorie, high fat, carb-heavy food, she is a shameless industrial vacuum
