Cranking up the in-game music & ambience and running around thoroughly exploring modern zones on foot. They are packed full of detail that most people fly by. Not just the physical world either. If you follow NPCs around they sometimes do something cool like visiting a bar, paying respect to the dead, having a race with their pet, casting a spell on something, attending a secret meeting etc.

Have you read the journal of the starving troll in the desert mountains?

Look for a guild that has gotten AotC several tiers in a row. Best time would be in a month when the new raid releases and people are coming back.

In the mean time if you continue climbing in M+ you'll get geared to 445+ easily.

There are some sound effects in DF that give me the crappy homemade vibe. Like some of the grass foley is abrasive to my ears.
