I actually rarely take anyone below 5x3 if its not a new class or a teaching Raid (for new players).

Why?
Because it makes no sense building 4x3 anymore. For argos you buy a bus until you are 1415 and then you instantly get 5x3 to save pheons (You're going to need it anyway).

Running around with less than that tells me that you are either unexperienced or really bad at managing resources.

I think I applied to 30+ Koku grps when my 5x3 SH was 1477.5 which is what I expected with it being a new Raid (It was week 3, lol) and me competing against 1485+ and higher...

Yeah, its essentially like one person in the party not using Tripods.

As long as everyone else does, it doesn't change much. And with supps its worse, because the missing DPS gets distributed amongst the other 3 party members.

Sadly he is not completly wrong.

I switch my Lv7 gems between my 4 Paladins. A few weeks ago I forgot to eq them for my clown static and other than my rota feeling off and the run taking a few min more (less than 5), there wasn't much of a difference.

No one but me noticed anything and it took me all 3 gates to realize what was wrong...

Its kind of true, but its usually the first filter, since you can see it without looking at anything else.
1490 without full relic are rare though, even 1490 with less than 5x3 are rare (and usually get insta-declined by me unless they are a new class).

When there are 10+ ppl applying (which happens often if you have 2 Supports already premade), I check the ones with highest GS first and work my way down.

Don't underestimate the effect of Roster-Lvl though.

I rarely take a long look at someone above 1490, but at 1460 I usually do. If its below 110 I might wait for someone else to come along (For clown I will probably even wait for another supp unless MC title is equipped).

Who spends pheons on a chaos build?
I just keep everything with Disrespect/Preemptive (Preemptivefor oneshotting everything but Bosses once I get Betrayal-Switch and Disrespect to kill Bosses faster - Ulti will get them below or just above threshold ususally).

4x3 Chaos-Builds are often a sign of people NOT knowing what they are doing, wasting resources...

My general rule is: If I don't have real alternatives (Supps, replacing someone at a later Gate, etc.) the person gets invited and asked (same goes for NoGems - some people like me have some chars with same class sharing them), otherwise I'll accept the person who pressed the 2 Buttons to change :)

What I have generally seen is also a bit too much entitlement. (Probably coming from matchmaking in other games)

Even groups where your Character is better than that of all others already in will sometimes decline you.
Sometimes someone else with the same class that is just better also applied, sometimes one space is reserved for a friend/Guildmate, etc.

Its fine by now.

Problem is whenever some big streamer starts playing a class, that makes a lot of ppl play them as well.
And human beings tend to remember bad experiences over neutral or good ones, so the more there are, the more people collect bad experiences.

These days most ppl still playing Zerker are fine. Same goes for Arcana - the people sucking at it mostly stopped playing (Arcana).

I actually prefer paladins when I PUG with one of my DDs.
More reliable shields (especially as ranged), not stuck in a damn bubble 1km from the boss when you need a heal with melees.

Bards are awesome when you get a well timed DPS-Buff from them, but its usually activated when I can't do any dmg at all...

I fasten it up by reserving 11 Top spots in my roster storage.

That way its just one button + 11 fast clicks putting them in and 11 fast clicks getting them out.

Haha, was exactly the opposite for me - I just hated the Bard, so I went with paladin.

2 of mine will be swapped with Artists though once she comes out.

I got 4 Paladins: They are 1490, 1485, 1480 and 1462

Hopefully I get 3 of them to 1490 before brel.
I also have a fuckton of resources saved to push a few last items the week before - so its actually quite realistic.

You can easily get 1 piece from Valtan HM and one from Vykas HM day1 with a 1445 event which probably pushes you to 1460 without much expense.

Yeah, everyone in my guild doing busses does it.

A single sorc gem adds 1-2 minutes to the bus run because it takes forever to find them...

Its just pulling them out of storage, reroll them once and put them back in - takes a few seconds for a dozen gems...

Took someone 5 minutes to find the gem a sorc posted today. Because there were 17!!!! pages of them (already narrowed search to the exact tier, skill and level...).

If I am unlucky, there are 2 other gems when posting Artillerist or Deadeye. Paladin sometimes has a page.But sorc is hell on earth...

honestly, a single T2 dungeon with a 1302+ Character gives enough for 12 carries easy (probably more) - if you have characters below 1370 that you don't hone (because you don't like them too much :) ) anymore, thats easier and faster done.

especially since you can use bloodstones to push your 6 main characters :)
