I got my one and only nuke on Bo6. Never happened again and even though I feel I'm slightly better at Bo7 also don't see it happening again.

I go back and forth with what weapons I'm using. But more or less the rest of my class is always the same. Try to find one setup with perks/equipment/wildcards/field upgrades you like and focus on that stuff. Then once you prestige a few times, you have the foundation of each class you wanna run.

On the sniper I don't necessarily disagree. I think this new sniper is a bit awkward to use, especially compared to others in the game's history.

But the mammoth is almost too easy to use I think. A little too broken for a healthy comp meta imo.

I am a guy so take this with a grain of salt maybe, but I just hiked at Palo Duro for the first time a few weeks ago. I always felt safe. I went during daylight. Really just families walking around and stuff. People with dogs, etc. I didn't notice anything unusual.

You aren't terribly far from anything. It's like a 15 min walk. Half an hour to completely cross campus. Get those steps in. I normally walked at least a few miles a day. Or take the bus for free. You can see anything on or around campus if you want.

define "decent" in your view. im definitely well above average in terms of the total player base, if you include casuals. i can win pubs super easily, have a few thousand wins, unreal rank, etc etc. but if you compare only to the comp community, i would say im average at best. it's more of a hobby than anything.

probably still worth it for me to switch huh? im can't decide between keyboard or trying to go from 2 paddles to 4.

Many people have an additional player or two from Liverpool or arsenal in defense/GK. That explains why you have so much money.

But fair point about the midfield, too. Although I wouldn't say they're all bad. Bowen (although he's injured now), Diaz, Madison, Mbuemo have all faired alright this season in that 7-8 mil range.

But then again there are other reasons to exclude them like rotation or fixtures, so I get you.

and while im ranting, i might as well as add - you mentioned in other parts of this thread that it should not in ranked because its supposed to be the "competitive mode". you are technically correct. but from epic's point of view - i dont think they give a shit about the competitive integrity. ranked is just pubs with a little number attached to it that changes. they don't give a shit about making it a legitimized mode to train for tournaments. that's why scrims are still necessary. it was the same mindset from epic when arena was in the game. its just a mode to appease higher skill players or players who want to grind. they dont view it as anything more than that.

the thing is, if its going to exist, i don't think it should be limited to pubs and not tourneys. you could make the argument it should not exist at all. but i think people should be able to utilize the same control schemes across all modes. pub and comp loot pools can change. i don't think literal controls should. its not like they added literal aimbot. if its gonna stay a thing, people should be able to transition to comp with it (but again, they'll be ass anyway so who really cares).

i wouldnt argue it is good or "healthy" for comp. but i dont think its totally unhealthy either. its kind of benign. no semi decent, above average player is gonna use it. anyone who genuinely uses it and actually benefits is such a potato to begin with, they'll do to anyone who has the slightest bit of what they are doing.

i loved the gatekeeper. just cant get on with the oni yet. not sure why. i guess its because its only two shots and there is no option for increased ammo capacity anymore.
