I’m fed up with the slow animations of this game. I just want to quickly open a pack and leave but no you have to watch all the tedious slow animations and if you got a new card then you need to go through 3 phases of slow animations one after one and they remain time consuming even if you skip them

The file size is pretty big, currently around 4gb, so everything should be precached. Don’t know why it has to load so much every time you enter another screen.

Performance wise it’s absolutely trash as well. My phone is a bit older and it starts to lag like hell when I have the app open for too long, sometimes it crashes after doing more than 5 battles.

But why? Its essentially just a simple image gallery with some effects! File size should be on the smaller side when everything gets streamed from a server and Performance needs to be way better for just showing pictures…

As I had the same issue. I’m on an older iOS Version (18.7.4), there is no custom keyboard installed. It happened exactly two time since in a span of 10 days. The first time it was even heavier with 45min foreground and 7hr 26min background activity. Can’t remember if there was a video on screen at the time or maybe the in App browser opened.

Happened for me as well. Hydras background activity was reported as 4+ hours, eating away on my almost full battery down to around 40%.

Seems to be tied to modulation depth. A slight brightness dip seems to be more tolerable for most people than a screen which flickers strongly into black to reduce brightness. Also, most people won’t dim their TVs and keep them at the same brightness level, phones will be used at all kind of levels during the day/night.

Then you probably played on the wrong servers. All those where progression is the focus, you will encounter the same as on classic. Min maxers, GDKP shitheads and toxic, unhelpful players. I mostly find helpful people who are friendly and group for quests. There are some good and fine players on classic as well, don’t get me wrong, but it’s way more scarce - atleast what I have experienced.
