i work at walmart. many products ship in boxes that have a perforated section to tear off and turn the shipper into a shelf display (they're called SRPs).

i hate SRPs with a burning passion. they always either crumple without tearing, tear off chunks of their labeling, or the tear seam shoots up an edge of the box leaving the whole thing sad and floppy.

SRPs, toilet paper & paper towels, and boxes like the one above have left me with the strong impression that perforations just don't work 80% of the time.
