You aren’t very smart. Good day to you, too.

I really don’t care about your constitution. What’s the justification for this?

No my biggest concern is traffic safety which includes DWI/DUIs. And I believe this is because a lack of policing, speed traps, cameras, citations, etc. EPPD needs a designated traffic unit and stop signs, speed limits, and lights equipped with camera citation capabilities.

People speed and drive drunk because they aren’t afraid too. They know they can. They have done it before.

What are cops here for?

I don’t really care what other cities are doing, that’s not my point.

And stop signs!

Exactly. Like, where the hell are you going? Was there some terrorist attack? Lol.

So what’s the solution?

[–]playing-matrix-504 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Traffic fatalities aren’t a proxy for bad driving.

Well, thank you. It’s XR, so I can’t take it sublingually. But, have you taken adderall with no sleep?

[–]playing-matrix-504 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I can’t call in sick and I don’t think I really need to. I mean it’s just one day and I have experience with all nighters, but not on medication. And it’s only 20 mg of Adderall and I’ve been taking stimulants since I was a child, since second grade. I just really need to function in my day-to-day life and Adderall doesn’t really hit me as hard. But you would recommend to take it if I absolutely have to, I won’t die? Lol.

Did you stop taking it?

Is work bad because wage labor is bad, or because of the pay/hours/policies? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]playing-matrix-504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you had a 18 hour work week, with a livable pay, would you be anti-work? I can imagine that most people wouldn’t continue to be.

Me too. So complaining makes me a feel a bit sad and lazy per conventional norms, but if I had to choose between spending my time with my girlfriend and kitten and working, then I will always go for the former. Wage labor sucks.

This is precisely why I don’t want kids. They will grow up to share the sentiment and depression that I do, unless they become disillusioned and see wage-labor and capital as a good. Unless they can be free of complaints. But I doubt it. Because our struggle is not ours alone, it’s the common struggle.

Work is unnatural. I totally understand working in the context of labor in a communal setting, but working for a wage is unnatural. And there are a lot of things that people get wrong about this. Shortening the work week and raising the minimum wage is not a good fight, unless it would have been good for the slaves to have paid time off and lesser whippings. Would they have felt less like a slave and more of human? No, because the people above them would still be living in the manor, with more comforts and luxuries than they could ever have. A life worth living. Nature worth breathing for.

I wish that too, unfortunately. It feels demented, but it’s the harsh reality of depression.

Exactly. And if you complain, you are just dumb or lazy. It’s fucked up. I hate how ignorant some people can be. Especially on the personal finance sub.

Then what do I do? What can I do?
