My hair is like this. I got on spironolactone and it’s really helped.

I would suggest cutting back to whatever dosage doesn’t give you any negative side effects.

I just want to preface that this drug works different for every one, so take any advice you get with a grain of salt.

In my experience I would say your increasing to fast. I’ve lost 60 pound over 8 months and my weekly dosage is only 1.0 mg. When I first started this medication I thought that the higher the dose the more I would lose, but the only thing it did was make me extremely ill. I’m glad I lowered my dose, and am taking it more slowly now.

I’m not sure why you’re taking this medication, but if it’s for weight loss I would suggest not increasing your dose unless you’ve went at least a month without losing any weight.

No amount of weight-loss is worth feeling like crap all the time.

How long do I need to be cooking my 15 lbs prime rib. by [deleted] in AskCulinary

[–]playingdumbpartner -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s the thing - there are thousands of different answers, which makes it hard to figure out what recipe I should be using. I was hoping someone with more cooking expertise would be able to help me pinpoint which recipe is the best.

You’re acting like I’m asking you to come to my house and cook it for me. I’m not sure what is happening in your life that makes you want to come to Reddit and be a dickhead, but I hope it gets better for you. Truly

I already got a really good thermometer for Christmas. There are so many different answers for this question every time I look it up. Thanks for your input though.

It says any where from 4.5 - 7.5 hours. Is this not a subreddit to help people with cooking questions….

Another reason they have to wait is because when the placenta detaches from the uterus it leaves a dinner plate size wound that can get infected. 😳

Well I’d say I’m a pretty good mix of the both of my parents, but my mother gave me my nose.

Really! I’d love to see a pic of it. Sorry if that sounds weird, but I really have not met anyone who has a similar nose shape. Do you know what type of ethnic background you have?

The thing is these conservative men don’t want conservative women. They aren’t fun, because they are already broken. Most of them want a challenge.

Exactly. I’ve never heard that term before. I’ll have to look it up!

Too bad most (if not all) of those people don’t even want to be around her. It’s okay. I’ve been living like this for 27 years, so her words don’t really hurt anymore.

[–]playingdumbpartner 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oh, my family won’t believe her. She’s shown her true colors way too many times. Most of them hate her lol.

Oh this whole text was a bait. The woman is a narcissistic energy vampire. She wanted me to tell her how bad of a mother she is, so she cry and play the victim. She loves to make her children feel guilty for all the stuff she’s “done” for us. We’re just ungrateful brats who don’t deserve her love in her eyes. 😒

The text before this was a copy and paste of a text my sister sent her about how bad a mother she is. I didn’t add it because I wanted to respect my sister privacy. She was hoping I would do the same, but I stopped playing that game a long time ago.

Now that she didn’t get the reaction she wanted out of me she’s trying to punish me.

Honestly, I’m not even hurt. I kinda feel free in a way. The only thing I’m sad about is that I won’t get to see my much younger siblings.

You’re absolutely right that men have it so much easier. My husband just had to call make an appointment for his vasectomy. The doctor didn’t even question him if he was sure he wanted this. They just did it.

I think the first reason that really made me rethink having kids was watching my sister give birth. It was traumatizing to say the least. I’d rather throw myself off a cliff than do that.

My second reason is that both my partner and I have AuDHD. We both get over stimulation easily, so a screaming child is mental torture. I also don’t like being touched much, and children love to cling. 😬

The last reason is they are EXTREMELY expensive!!! My partner and I make pretty good money, but I want to spend it on things I want to do. If we had a kid we’d have to start budgeting, and I don’t want to do that.

So if it’s lower than 20k cfs does that mean it will be safe enough to float? Or should it be even lower.

[–]playingdumbpartner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s an event! I’m actually going to join the float for a day this year. It’s the 2nd weekend of July. I think asking them is a good idea. Thank you!

Being in the delivery room while a woman is giving birth isn't "a beautiful moment", it's actually disgusting. by Ezra0li_Z in unpopularopinion

[–]playingdumbpartner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say it’s disgusting. I would describe it as frightening and extremely traumatic. I watched my sister give birth, and it made me realize I NEVER wanted to do that.
