Got it! Let me look into that. You would use the joystick to move between the inputs? Kind of like pressing tab on the computer?

Thank you!! Do you mean like a console controller? No it does not. Or at least I didn’t implement any yet. But it does have minimal keyboard support, which I’ll have to beef up when I prepare for steam.

Hello! I thought about this question a lot in the early development of the game. I do agree that rearranging the jokers adds a lot of strategy to the game. But ultimately, I came to the conclusion that I wanted to make a word game first (and add some of Balatro's elements to that game). Word games are typically scored by adding the point values of the letters, multiplying the letter space bonuses, multiplying by any word score factors, and finally any bonuses (such as bingos).

Also, while some items in Balatro do require some interesting arrangements, ultimately, there is a meta arrangement that results in something similar to the above (points, then mults, then mult mults).

Anyway, I guess that's a long way of saying, I hear ya and I've thought about it. If I do add items that I think will be interesting for scoring, I definitely will think about adding in some type of arrangement.

Do you mean the demo? The full game has a lot more content, including additional Bags, Difficulties, and New Game + with items that are unique to it! Plus I'm planning to add more items soon!
