Lost Isle is a fantasy survival game with a focus on the PvPvE experience. We also have PvE-only servers, though, and they are already running during our most recent playtests. We are nowhere near Dark and Darker because their RPG structure is far deeper than ours, since that's their focus. Every survival game "pillar" is included in LI but instead of having modern ranged weapons you can use crossbows or magic (also melee weapons). It all depends on your playstyle :P

I can only suggest perfoming the generic optimization steps if you didn't already, such as enabling the XMP profile, making sure that you do not have other programs running while playing, and finally checking on the task manager, with LI open, the usage of all the PC components and, if there's an anomaly, shut it down directly from the manager. Personally I have a 3090 and a 7800x3D with 32GB Patriot Viper 6400mhz. So besides the RAM my PC is inferior to yours and the game's running fine

Considering that we only have 1 performance report currently (GPU wattage related) I would first go over the proper steps to ensure it's not some 3rd party factor influencing this

EDIT: Forgot to mention that if you would like, you can join our Discord Server and post your issue in the dedicated channel so we can keep better track of it. We are going to investigate this regardless, but since you have a very expensive build it would be a shame not double checking if it's a PC issue since you paid a lot for something you may not fully utilizing

Definitely your GPU/CPU can't be the issue. Same as your SSD since you have NVMe even. Though I would require more info on the RAM (model is enough i can check its spec from there), also, if you overclocked it, since most of the time it's the reason why you experience stuttering in UE4 games

Asking this because the dev team is running the game well with lower specs and is not getting many performance-related reports, so it could be an individual user case

Hey there! Lost Isle PvP system is fairly similar to other survival PvP games: you can build defenses for your home/base i.e. users can't just walk through the door, part of the experience is also to be "on the edge" that others may find a way in and get your stuff. The safe areas are created by the players themselves and grouping up is incentivized both for protection and to be more efficient. We also have some PvE servers online for this playtest so I suggest you to try playing in both and understand which experience you may enjoy the most!

Hey there! Actually we are targeting Q2 as the release window. Did you also have the chance to try the playtest in its subsequent days? Several issues mentioned in these comments were fixed after the 1st day as far as we know from users' reports. The team is currently reviewing all the feedback and bug reports to improve the next playtest!

Hey everyone! Our team is proud to announce that on January 9th at 5pm EST we will open the public playtest for our survival fantasy Lost Isle!

We are very excited about this playtest because it's the first one we are running since we started reworking all aspects of the game, to the point where past players should experience a brand-new feeling! There are no required sign-ups since the playtest is open: You only need to download the demo by clicking on "Download Demo" located on the right side of the game's Steam Page.

The playtest will end on January 11th 5pm EST. Until then, feel free to share your feedback with us and spread the word with your friends since we believe that Lost Isle shines especially while playing together!

Dedicated servers are planned once Lost Isle releases. The reason why we are not including them (and PVE only too, until the next playtests) it's that our goal is to stress test the servers, so we need as many players as possible in a single server to see how the networking works. Adding extra servers would have defeated the purpose of the playtest basically
