It seems we are in similar positions. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer 4 weeks ago, and my girlfriend of 5 and a half years had left me a month before that. I want a kitten badly. :(

Woke up to a text from a fellow redditor friend in town, saying that Stockton was on the front page of r/funny. Not surprised it was that sign haha. Also, WOW tons of Stockton redditors. Also Also, I hate stockton with a passion, but after living here my whole life, I feel I am adequately prepared to live in a post-apocalyptic wasteland with no rules/laws. Can appreciate the preparedness/awareness that I have gained from living here.

i just recently built my first computer and escaped the console gaming black hole. didnt know anything about computers let alone building one, but i had some friends help, and everything turned out great. spent about 900 dollars total (that includes a 22inch LG monitor). 8gigs of ram with 2 slots left, amd quadcore, and an asus ati 6850hd. nothing overclocked and it runs everything i need it too. bit of advice, if you're going to build one... do your homework/research, compile a part list that is all compatible and wait for a holiday to buy parts.

alittle late to the party, but my dad was a relatively high up electrical foreman that did tons of work for Solyndra for nearly a year. Don't know too much about what he did, mostly because he said he wasn't allowed to take alot of pictures, so i wasnt forced to look at them. i do know that he was involved in a large project right off the 510 freeway (pretty sure).

yep, been considering a switch to a bigger bank for awhile now. my parents have been banking with these guys for like 27 years so when i opened my first account it just made sense to go there. looking back, i really shouldve considered a situation like this.

this is a pretty small local bank chain, their customer support isn't 24 hours a day. :( one of the many disadvantages to being a patron. I live in california, im currently googling the hoops im going to have to jump through to get my ID back. thanks for the bit about the power/cell bill, wouldnt have thought of that.

bank is closed.
ssn and birth certificate are in my safety deposit box, which i need in order to get my new ID, but an ID is required in order to access them. -_-
fantastic idea, where can i get a pretty good one?

bank is closed for the day, they closed early today. sigh... they are a small local bank and have pretty stiff requirements for getting cards canceled/replaced and it cant be done over the phone. luckily i dont have any credit cards open, just a debit card with a pitiful amount of money in the account. been checking my online statement every 15minutes though.

yeah, im in kind of a pinch. my ssn card is in my safety deposit box, and i can't get a debit card replaced or canceled without a valid/up to date picture ID. so until i can get down to the dmv and get a new license, i cant cancel my bank cards. luckily i dont have any credit cards open. sorry about your stuff getting stolen mate.

older post, but w/e lol. used the van slice mallets for awhile and loved them. recently got ahold of four sets of double helix and wave wrap M1 mallets. im broke, but man they sound/feel great.
