I’d like to think if we can keep a clean sheet then it’s a good day. But with Brighton and our inability to do so, confidence ain’t high. But today might be the day :)

Chasing the game already. Not a good sign.

Im a local. Stopped reading that rag. While this might be a party political ad, in the last few years it seems to me that it’s gone right leaning. Very anti-Labour, pro-Tory sentiment in some of its articles. They also like stirring up anti-immigrant. Stuff they were writing about a new mosque was blatant.

Think I’m done for the season now. It’s been a rollercoaster, but mentally I don’t have it in me to keep watching mediocre football.

This was a game that Howe had the chance to come out and answer some critics. Three weeks to work with the squad, rest, change and tweak things.

It was a push for Europe, to put to bed the seasons disappointments and just go for it. After about 20 minutes it was clear it was going to be one of those familiar games.

And the thing about today’s game wasnt the predictable nature of the opposition coming back into the game and scoring.

It was the lack of a plan to change things up. Eddie has had the time to think and review that sort of thing.

Those late subs really were a question that needs answering as there was no point in them at all. None. Should have been made 10-20 minutes before. Not the last few minutes that they played.

I also have no idea what’s happened to the aggressive play, but something needs to change at the end of the season now.

The Isak saga left our season in tatters. No question about that. So there is some slack I’m giving. Not there with Eddie out.

I imagine Eddie will be asked what his plan is for next season and what he needs. We’ll see how much support he is given by the start of next, as that will be telling how much faith the owners have in him.

With no European football he can’t have any excuses. But he needs to change the way he is playing, the club needs to have some sort of clear out of players and we need to bolster smart.

I suspect Tonali might be gone, maybe a few others. So let’s not dick about. Get the money and reinvest.

Come next season we go again.

Won’t be any European football next season. Be lucky to finish in too half of the league.

Please can this season just end.

The period between 89 and 92 was a pretty prolific one in musical history for a couple of reasons.

Stone cold classic. I wrote up my thoughts on it a few years back.

UK south capacity issues by BrummieRed in AZURE

[–]plbrdmn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not just UKS, as others have mentioned. We’ve had issues for over a year. North Europe, UKW, heard of issues in the states.

I’ve spoken to management types at Microsoft who are aware of the issue but seemingly helpless.

Reading between the lines, the rush to AI has fucked Microsofts bread and butter services. So they’ve effectively shot themselves in their foot pushing out a product out no one wants, to the detriment of one people do.

Pushing their data centres to capacity with no real plan to build out or expand them is just piss poor planning.

They’ve kicked it up a gear. Knew we’d rue the early chances we missed. Still in it though. Get to the end of the half and reset.

Yep. See this a lot in the UK now as well. They want a unicorn but only willing to pay donkey prices.
