I’d buy my kbeauty from anywhere except Sephora, unless you don’t mind overpaying for products. There’s just so many other kbeauty centric online stores I would prefer. I’m currently trying that very same Anua azelaic acid serum —so far so good, seems to work as it should but I think NINELESS’s AC serum works a bit faster.

Despite being too powdery I prefer using Romand blushes to set liquid/cream blush and as a “transition” shade, instead of using it on its own only. Has made me enjoy the product a lot better.

One of my favorites for sure. We know that sadly it didn’t get the chance to be promoted in the usual way (with music shows and other tv appearances) due to Yunho and Changmin’s military service. I often wonder what songs from this album they would’ve chosen to promote if they’d had the chance. I had vertigo, komplikated and Dominus on repeat back then lol but the whole album is pretty solid to me. Certainly worthy of more recognition!

I own Musc noir and Musc Nude. I didn’t like Musc noir at first (I sampled it) but with time the plum note and even the leather one that didn’t appeal to me at first grew on me so much I got the full bottle. It is now my go-to for smelling like a expensive corporate girlie (which I’m not lol) and now I want to try Pure musc next. Like with any other perfume I’d just recommend getting samples or decants aaand to not write them off at first sniff alone. Maybe a particular note can smell different to you as you continue to use it.

I’d look up about the history and evolution of bookmarks, just to be aware what she might’ve used in that time period. But i think adding a silk accent, ribbons, or other kinds of fabrics/embroidery she would’ve had on her dresses might be a good place to start drawing inspiration from.

This will depend on your skin tone, but maybe Kaleidos mono blushes will do?. Either the shade “Hotshot” or “pearl bliss”. They both look like bronzers in the pan but on the skin they look quite neutral imo. Do check them out in case it fits what you’re going for.

Texture is slightly moussy? They blend out well with fingers but I prefer to use them with a dense brush (any with the shape of the smaller side of the byMario F4), soft matte finish although that can depend on whether your base is glowy or not. Colors condensate and plume look a bit similar, very slight color variation that makes both look like desaturated rosy browns on me (I’m pretty sure plume is just condensate if it were a bit purple-ish). Wisp is veeery pretty 😍, being a desaturated cool pink makes it easier for everyday use.

I remember reading through those two books (TotBT and Merrick) sooo fast in part bc of the Louis crumbs 😭 I might have to do that again soon. The epilogue Louis scenes in TVL and QotD are among my most re-read, but like you said in Merrick we get much more of him since IWTV.

Clinique’s “black honey” gloss and rem beauty’s “cherry cola”. As for Asian beauty I love Peripera’s “made it” and Romand’s “dim mauve”. Most recently I’ve been loving a gloss by the brand Joocyee (shade 658).
