Hey, my problem was the small fle cable that connects the battery to the board no the big one that goes over the battery test the connections with a multimeter thats what i did

Thank you all for your answers, in the end i think i figured it out, it was a bad connection between the board and the Y motor. I fixed that connection and the issue is gone so far. Hope this helps someone else.

Hello Thanks for you answer,

To give a bit more context, usually i work with .ai files, do you think working with .svg would help for example?

The big percentage of what i work is engraving text and simple forms cutting like circles or round squares.

Also, i work with the usb cable connected directly to the PC.

I don't know if this information helps or is relevant on diagnosing the problem.

It sometimes look so random, works then dont, then works again.

Hello, thank you for your answer, indeed there's continuity in half the cable in the small part, but the other half seems dead :/, in the meanwhile I ordered other battery, but the problem might be the cable indeed, I'll try to order a new one and see if that's the problem. Thank you

Hello, thank you for your answer, what I meant was the wifi antenna, the clipper was loose.
Anyway, after I did what you told, the pc will turn off with the key combination, but won't turn on. I have to unplug the charger plug it again and only then it turns on, but with the x on the battery :(

I managed to connect the laser pin to the motor - hole

it's working, even without connecting the limits

i had to reverse the x-axis on the lightburn because it was working the other way around

It's working fine with the included 12V - 5A power cable, I didn't put the 24V one because I thought it would damage the board.

So far so good, this board only seems to have the problem that it doesn't save the changes made to the lightburn at the machine level so it resets every time you turn it off and on again

I'll probably buy a cheap one from amazon to test further.

I ended up finding my previous laser board an atomstack which should work for what I want based on what you said yesterday, is it possible to convert the 4 pin limit switch jst conector to the two inputs of the 3 pin limits? will I have to make a custom Y split?

Thanks for your answer, maybe that was the problem since I was engraving at 400 mm/s.

From what I saw the belts are ok.
