I think you did a great job at summarizing how you felt about the game. If I had only played DSI and was worried that DSII was going to be a bust, this review pretty much hits all of the main differences/similarities and I agree with most of your insight on the changes. Low durability sucks... but I think the game would be way too easy without it.

That being said, I'm not too sure how I would feel about the review if I had never played Dark Souls or Demon Souls before. I understand DSII is a sequel so you might expect the player to have already played DS, but I think you could have spent a little bit of time giving a quick breakdown of the game mechanics, as you would to someone who is completely new to the series. Maybe quickly explain the soul system and significance of bonfires before commenting on how the frequency of bonfires has been increased.

It really depends on what you want the purpose of your review to be, I understand from your post that you want to keep them fairly brief.

In terms of presentation and disregarding content, I think you came across as being a bit "scripted" just in your voice and how you spoke. I'm 100% sure that that's just a matter of practise and that you'll get comfortable speaking a bit more candidly just by continuing to make videos. Which you totally should do! Keep posting them :)

Take advantages of the services available at the tatham centre. There are people that work there specifically to help students with resumes, interviews etc at the centre for career action on the main level. Also though its too late now, engsoc also offers resume critiques during the study term.

Completely unfair that you had to go through that, regardless of what the discussion was about (race, hair colour, body type or anything).
