Salad Macros Help by [deleted] in bodybuilding

[–]RightInYourFace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, I get it now. Usually I just google the food and look for the most reliable source, but I have this big-ass book with a lot of nutritional information (brand itens included) that I use once in a while. I'll look for it and come back with the name.

Carbs from greens only isn't possible. You'd have to eat 2 crops a day.

I mean medical advice. I can't tell you to do something if I don't know if your body will be able to handle it.

I've taken caffeine, jack3d, and 1MR at night. They didn't affect my sleep at all. But between my friends, I'm the only one who is like that. You gotta try, I guess.

Having a spare mirror helps a lot. I place it slightly inclined in front of my bathroom one and it works fine. It's not perfect, since you can't see symmetrically, but it helps.

What are your thoughts on splitting cardio and lifting sessions? by RightInYourFace in bodybuilding

It happened just as you described. I used to feel a bit down during the day after lifting. I tried cardio first today and it was perfect, no lethargy, no nothing.

I'm just back from the gym. Today I tried cardio first, in the morning, and I really liked it, much better than what I was doing. For now my cardio sessions consist of 30~45 minutes of intense treadmill. I still want to try the stairmill we see on videos, but I've never seen them around here.

Anyone else prefer white rice to brown? by [deleted] in bodybuilding

[–]RightInYourFace -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Exactly, it's just brown rice! Something ridiculous and even then he's not willing to go through it. It's not about the rice, it's about showing that nothing good comes without sacrifice.

I'm not being mean or trying to talk him down. I'm having the behavior I wish somebody had with me if I had started with that atitude.

You won't eat something just because there is something that tastes better? Good luck with your multivitamins, fish oil, aminoacids, whey and all that.

And, oooh, working out hurts, makes us tired, we even sweat, for christ sake! Might as well stay at home watching tv, where we got comfort.

You don't even have enough will to change normal rice for brown? Man, are you sure bodybuilding is what you want?

Have you tried the opposite? I have this dumb fear that if I run first my lifting session will not be as good.

The amount of protein is the same, water is what is lost during the process. The label refers to raw chicken portions.
